BID INCREMENTS
Bids advance by the increment configured for the auction. Some lots may use platform increments while others may use a seller-selected increment.
ANTI-SNIPE EXTENSION
A bid placed near the closing time may extend the auction. This is designed to reward the highest active bidder rather than the fastest last-second connection.
RESERVES
A seller may set a reserve price. The lot will indicate whether a reserve applies and whether it has been met without exposing a hidden reserve amount unless the seller chooses otherwise.
BIDDER NUMBERS
Public bidding activity uses numbered identities. This makes the bid ladder easy to follow without turning it into a public profile contest.
